What does AWANA mean to you?: “AWANA to us has been a true blessing since Day 1.  Our kids have a desire to know more about the Lord.  We can tell that the teachers do care about what they do because our kids exhibit many new behaviors that are Biblically based.  We are extremely grateful and appreciative for what all of Calvary Chapel have done for our children”  Sincerely M&N

AWANA: Approved Workmen are not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15)

Children ages 3 (by September1) through grade 6 are invited to attend Awana Wednesdays, Sept to May. At Awana,  children will play games, hear a Bible lesson, and meet in small groups. Centered on the gospel, with a high scriptural content, Awana has trained leaders who love the Lord, love kids, and are available to mentor and disciple children. The principles of Awana clubs are rooted in the idea that children can have fun while learning God’s word, and that fun enhances learning. Awana is a global ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love, and serve the Lord. The program also strengthens the church/parent partnership. The name Awana comes from the first letters of the phrase “approved workmen are not ashamed,” For more information you may visit awana.org .  Any questions or concerns contact Betsy at 717-813-2384
