Let's go to Greece!

Sept. 16-26, 2026

Go where the apostles walked

In biblical perspective, THE AGORA of EPHESUS represents the gospel entering public life, not merely private belief. Christianity confronted commerce, culture, and identity in the open square of the city. The ruins today stand as testimony that the message of Christ was proclaimed in a world of noise, wealth, and competing loyalties—and yet it took root, transforming lives and ultimately outlasting the marble markets themselves.

When you visit Greece, EXPECT FOOD THAT is FRESH, and deeply satisfying without feeling weighed down. Meals are crafted with olive oil, ripe vegetables, herbs, bread, cheese, prepared meats or seafood, with flavors that are distinct and very tasteful. Portions are generous, meant to be shared, and eating is unhurried — food is as much about the enjoyment with others as nourishment. You’ll notice that even the simplest meals taste vibrant, because the ingredients are fresh, seasonal, and treated with care, reflecting a culture where hospitality and the table are central to daily life.

THE ANCIENT THEATRE of PHILLIP...
Biblically, Philippi is best known from Acts 16, where the apostle Paul first brought the gospel into Europe. It was here that Lydia was converted, a demon-possessed slave girl was delivered, and Paul and Silas were imprisoned and miraculously freed. While Scripture does not explicitly place Paul inside the theatre, the structure represents the civic and public life of the city—the very environment in which Roman authority, public order, and cultural values were enforced.
