CCLEB Building Renovation Update - October 17th
Dear Church Family,

As we embark on this remarkable journey of renovating our beloved church building, we want to take a moment to express our deep gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported us through the planning phase and the pledge phase.

Building Renovation Updates: Your Source for Progress
To keep you informed and engaged throughout this renovation process, we've created this page as your hub for all Building Renovation Updates. Here, you'll find the latest news, announcements, and details about the various phases of this project.

A Vision Unveiled
We are embarking on a mission to revitalize our church building, making it more accessible and accommodating to our growing community. Here's what you can look forward to:
  1. New Sanctuary: Our basement space will be transformed into a beautiful, state-of-the-art sanctuary that can comfortably seat up to 1000 people during each service.
  2. Enhanced Accessibility: We're revamping the front vestibule to allow easy entrance to the building from the sidewalk, ensuring greater accessibility for everyone, including those with mobility challenges.
  3. Elevator Access: With the installation of a new elevator, we're making sure our church is accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical abilities.
  4. Café and Fellowship Space: The renovation plans also include a dedicated café and fellowship space where our congregation can come together, connect, and build a sense of community.

These are just a few of the exciting improvements that await us in the coming months. To dive deeper into the renovation plans, we invite you to revisit the Building Renovation Information Meetings from several months ago here and here.

Construction Milestones | Phase 1
Our renovation journey will start on October 23 when construction begins in the side alley to install a new entrance ramp and door along the side of the building. We anticipate that this construction will be completed tentatively within two weeks, and while its ongoing, we kindly ask you to avoid driving through the side alley to ensure safety and efficiency.

Starting on October 30, the upstairs Library will be temporarily closed to make way for the installation of the new elevator. Please note that the library will remain closed until further notice.

In preparation for the renovation of the front of the building, we will temporarily lose access to the front steps and doors. Starting on Sunday, November 12, we will begin using the new entrance doors at the four corners of the building and the new alley ramp. A map with the new entry points will be provided, and outside entrance flags will clearly mark the way.

On Monday, November 13, the demolition and construction of the front steps and doors will begin, and access to this area will be limited. During the week, entrance to the building will primarily be through the new ramp door and side alley door, while on Sundays, we'll use all four corner entry doors and ramp doors.

Lastly, in the first phase, beginning on Sunday, November 19, we will initiate demolition and construction in the basement. Please note that the basement will no longer be available for any activities while they build the new sanctuary.
As we undertake these renovations, we understand that there will be some inconveniences, but we believe that the outcome will far outweigh the temporary disruptions. Please join us in prayer for an extra measure of grace, patience and continued unity as we work through this project together.

We look forward to sharing this remarkable journey with you and celebrating the wonderful changes that are soon to come.

Love.
