November Building Renovation Update
November Building Renovation Update
Although we haven’t seen demo and construction dust quite yet, the construction planning team has been hard at work finalizing many details. Starting Monday, December 4th, the construction crews will be building a new accessible entrance ramp along the alley of the west side of the building. The goal is to have this ramp ready for use on Sunday, December 10th.
As the crews start working on the new ramp, the plan is that they will also start working on the front steps of the building. Starting Monday, December 4th, please plan to use the northwest door on the west side of the building as the main door. On Sunday mornings, we will utilize all four corner doors around the building to help with traffic flow in and out of the service (see below):

Starting on December 1st, the basement space will be considered a construction zone, so any activities that had happened there prior will have new meeting locations. Those locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
Also Starting December 1st, the Library space will be partially closed so that the installation of the elevator can begin.
As a reminder, this entire project is slated to take about a year. So, keep in mind that these changes will be ever-evolving, improving, and most importantly - short-term.
As always thank you for your grace, patience, and prayers. It is tremendously exciting each time we get an update on the construction project, and we are thankful to share that joy and excitement with you.
